Compare loan rates side by side

One loan, every bank, one honest ranking. Enter your loan amount, term, and loan type — every lender with a published rate is priced on your exact numbers and ranked by true total cost: monthly payment × term, plus fees. Lenders that publish no rate are listed separately and never ranked on a guessed number.

How the ranking works

  1. Enter your loan amount, term in months, and loan type.
  2. Press Calculate. Every published-rate product in our directory for that loan type is priced on your numbers: monthly payment × term, plus any fees.
  3. Products are ranked cheapest first by true total cost — never by headline APR alone.
  4. If a product doesn't support your exact term, the nearest supported term is used and shown in the Term column.

Why total cost beats headline APR

A lower APR does not always mean a cheaper loan. Two traps hide in the fine print:

That's why our ranking never stops at the APR: the winner is the loan that costs you the least money over the full term.

Methodology note

Rates used here are each lender's published starting rates from the November 2026 verification cycle, checked against the lender's own website on November 1, 2026 — not personalized offers. Your actual rate depends on your credit profile. Lenders that publish no rate appear separately as "quote required" and are never ranked on an invented figure. This comparison is educational, not financial advice.

Frequently asked questions

What is true total cost?

Monthly payment times the term, plus any fees. It is the total amount of money the loan will actually cost you, and it is what our ranking is sorted by.

Which rates does the comparison use?

Each lender's published starting rate from the November 2026 verification cycle, checked against the lender's own website on November 1, 2026. They are not personalized offers.

Why are some lenders listed as quote required instead of ranked?

Those lenders publish no rate - they price individually by application, state, or through dealers. Ranking them on a guessed number would be manufacturing data, so they are listed separately.

What if my term doesn't match a product's supported terms?

The calculator uses the product's nearest supported term and shows it in the Term column, so every row stays honest about the math behind it.

Is this comparison financial advice?

No. It is an educational tool that shows what published rates cost on your numbers. Your actual offer will depend on your credit profile and the lender's underwriting.
